Evil Exposed - Truth Being Told!
Private Prison Industry- The Real REASON Music is so Ratchet
Wednesday, March 4, 2020 | Subject: Private Prison Industry | Category: business

Ratchet: adjective. a person (or activity) that is in general, over the top, out of control hood/ghetto, gritty, and Unapologetically so.

Most likely you have never heard of Corrections Corporation of America or Geo Corp. These are the two largest private prison companies in the United States and they are publicly traded. As with any publicly traded corporation their goal is to make money and satisfy their investors. Thus more prisons and prisoners means more money, its very simple. Like any business they have a business model, a way to grow and attract more business. So how do these companies get more business (prisoners)?

  1. In 2013 the Corrections Corporation of America alone spent more than 3 Million dollars on political contributions, lobbying Congress and state officials to pass laws to make it easier to lock people up and get longer sentences for crimes.

  2. Correction Corporation of America purchases prisons from states. They negotiated a 90% occupancy guarantee with the states. Meaning the states have to keep the prisons full (lock people up) to live up to contractual obligations. Unbelievable? Read the USA Today article: Private Purchasing of Prisons Locks in Occupancy Rates.

  3. Many big companies and influential people invest in private prisons such as Wells Fargo which invested 86.7 Million in GEO Corp. and the Bill Gates Foundation. But the rabbit hole goes MUCH deeper:

According to the financial analysis firm Bloomberg the LARGEST holder in Correction Corporation of America is The Vanguard Group, they are ALSO the 3rd largest holder in GEO Corp. Vanguard is the 3rd largest holder in Viacom and Time Warner.

It's not only Vanguard, though. The Blackrock Corp. is the #1 holder in both Time Warner and Viacom. Blackrock is the number two holder in Correction Corporation of America behind Vanguard.
So what? Well, Time Warner and Viacom are two of the only 6 companies that control ALL of the media in the USA (tv, radio, movies, news etc.). The above photos show just some of their media holdings. Essentially they control, own and produce much of what you see and hear so it's no surprise that their programming is so ratchet. The more they influence people with drug, violence and sex overtones the more the crime rate goes up, which in turn makes the prison rate go up, which in turn makes them money, which makes them very happy.

This is why Jay Z is in his mid 40's still rapping about bling, misogyny and reminiscing his drug selling days. This why Lil Wayne is always always praising his purple drank, ecstasy, weed and the thug life. Not to mention the slew of current performers that spew similar filth. They are paid to do this, it's not accident, it's agenda. It's not high level math, it's simple finance. Evil, but simple.

There no doubt are countless other financial connections linking finance to incarceration than we have exposed. What can you do about this? Pass this information on to family, tell a friend. Unfortunately money rules the world and greedy ruthless people that have the most of it care nothing about us. The only thing they respect is your money. Stop buying their poison, educate yourself and change will come.
